Plaid as Rabbits

In the spirit of Easter, I thought I'd style some bunny-inspired outfits for this week's ootds.  Bunnies are kind of an odd element in fashion.  I definitely feel that this sweater is only appropriate in the springtime months near Easter.  Bunnies, like Christmas trees, seem to carry that seasonal baggage wherever they hop about.  Regardless, I do buy into festive fashion, so I'm hoppy to don the bunny sweater this week.

The Outfit and About it:

Forever 21 Rabbit Sweater.  I am a sucker for conversational prints.  This is such a massive understatement I don't even know how to articulate a proper sentence about it.  If you put a piece of clothing with a print of bunnies, owls, foxes, bicycles, cute anything you name it — happy pineapples? — I will buy it if I have the money (Save that it fits and is flattering).  I can't get enough of it.

Forever 21 safety pin bracelet.  Yet another quirky item.  I must have a thing for repurposing objects. Hmm, I can't quite "pin" it down, what exactly the obsession is here.

Meijer plaid shirt. I think I've covered this shirt many times, but I'll say it again: comfortable, cute, and super affordable.

American Eagle Skinny Jeans.  In a dark wash. My favorite thing to do with jeans is cuff them.  I have such a love hate relationship with jeans.  But that is another post for another day.

Payless Shoes. I love this style of shoe.  I would say that my favorite feature would be the visible decorative stitching.

Bunny pouch and rock.  I got this necklace from my grandpa along with the rock inside.  I love wearing this pouch necklace but I am rather sparing with it because it is somewhat fragile.  My grandpa has always been into rocks and when I was little he would collect them and then tumble them in his rock tumbler.  He even came into some of my school classes to teach all my classmates about different kinds of rocks.
